Not this again ... I'm not even going to bother going around that tired old circle of stupidity ... believe whatever nonsense you want to (just like all the over gullible fools do with statistical information). :-\ |

While he has proven that before, in this case he may be accidently right. Self-selected samples aren't typically as reliable as random samples. iPhone owners, as other statistics have shown, are more satisfied with their device than other smartphone owners, and I'd argue are more likely to "brag" about it in a survey like this. Also, the fragmentation of the Android OS might hinder responses. Someone with a "Droid" on Verizon, for example, might unwittingly select "other" because they couldn't find "Verizon" or "Droid" on the list, unaware that their handset was, in fact, a Motorola. (More importantly, the fact that it is a Motorola was probably unimportant to them when purchasing it, much to Motorola's chagrin!) Actually the best, and perhaps most accurate (sadly), response in the linked thread was "a faceless, nameless 13-year old in the good old ROC for pennies a day and no benefits..." |

And anyone who blindly believes that all statistics/polls/survey/studies are wrong is an idiot. And you have repeatedly proven that you think that you're hot shit. The fact, though, is that you're not hot. That's a fact, not a belief or opinion. -- Tea Party Patriots is to Patriotism as People's Democratic Republic is to Democracy. |
