Isn't it interesting how two smartphone resale values can differ so much
after only a couple of years in the market. One has millions of apps and
sells for peanuts, if at all, because its manufacturer keeps spoon feeding
updates to the hardware rendering its older version from 6 months ago
useless. The other only has 500 free apps, but its manufacturer kept every
phone on the air updated automatically with all the latest OS and software
updates, hourly, and didn't spoon feed the technology in the first place or
hobble up the features requiring hacking to open the limited phone to some
usefulness. It sells for LOTS more on Ebay or any place else.

Odd, but not funny.

I wouldn't pay that much for that piece of junk even if the money came
from YOUR wallet.

Isn't it odd how you're trying to compare the price of two broken phones
with one that is fully working?

But lets take a look at completed listings for that Nokia. Oh, there's one
that didn't sell for $335.95 There's one that didn't seell for $689, and
another that didn't sell for $666.66, and one that didn't sell for $659.
Scrolling own a bit, there are a bunch that didn't sell about $500. And a
bunch more that didn't sell for $400.

Oh look, there's an iPhone 3G that sold for $7,099. I wonder what dumb
fucker bought it, just five days ago. I see bunches that sold for up to
3,750.

they're bogus. look at the bid history.

here's the $7099 iphone:
<http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270608454490>

0 seller feedback and joined july 6th, 2010, shortly before the item
was posted. bid history is very interesting, with the last *14* bids
from 0 or 1 feedback users, *all* of whom are no longer registered.

assuming there was actually one for sale, n***r is may be the winner at
a more normal $246, which is actually pretty high for an iphone 3g,
although i suspect the entire auction was voided.

> I see bunches that sold for up to 3,750.

the $3750 one is for a lot of 10 unlocked iphone 3g, which is also a
bit high unless it's an official factory unlock, which these are
definitely not.

If the money was actually coming from Loser Larry's wallet, then I'd pay WAY
WAY more just to bankrupt the moron. :-)
