Default [Semi-OT News] $76million iPad 2

There is an iPhone version mentioned at the bottom of the article. From
PCAuthority.com.au ...

Designer unveils $7.6 million iPad 2 made from real dinosaur bones
------------------------------------------------------------------
Introducing the iPad Gold History Edition: a $7.6 million tablet
made from diamonds, gems and the thigh bone of a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
No really.

Have you ever felt like your iPad 2 needed more Tyrannosaurus?
Well, the wait is finally over!

UK designer Stuart Hughes - the man behind the solid gold iPhone
and Ostrich Skin TV - has unveiled his latest gaudy masterpiece:
the iPad Gold History Edition.

In addition to the usual designer trappings (namely gold, diamonds
and gems), the iPad Gold History Edition comes with an ultra-rare
Ammolite stone infused with 57 grams of genuine dinosaur bone. Yes,
you read that correctly.

"To make this masterpiece even more individual, sections of a
65 million year old T-REX Dinosaurıs thigh bone was splintered and
then shaved into the Ammolite", explains Stuart Hughes on his
website. "[The result] is undoubtably the worldıs most unique
gadget." I dunno. The Philips Air Fryer is pretty unique.

As if that wasn't enough, the tablet is also finished off with a
single cut 8.5ct flawless diamond inlaid in its own platinum
surround with 12 outer flawless diamonds. Other highlights include
53 individually set sparkling gems, a solid gold 24ct Apple logo
and a 0.92 megapixel camera.

You can order the iPad Gold History Edition for a cool $7,677,500.
(Just make sure not to brick this thing when you jailbreak it.)

Aristocrats on a more modest budget can plump for the
iphone 4 HISTORY Edition, which boasts a back constructed from a
T-Rex tooth. It sells for a slightly more reasonable $61,511. No
word on whether it can run Siri.

Note: It's an Australian website, so those prices are in Australian dollars.

And since AUD are worth slightly more than USD, the price is even higher
on this side of the Pacific...
