Of course, but all this stuff is what we have to go by. It's good to file
it away.

There's also an iPhone 7 and an iPad 5 coming ... at some stage. :-)

Journalists stupidly believe that if fling enough crap around, then some
of it will eventually stick. In reality they simply make a big mess. :-(

I am not convinced the next i]phone will be physically radically
different. It will likely have a screen that takes up more of the top
surface real estate.

In other words, they might just tweak the existing overall look/feel.
Perhaps the home button my be virtualised or perhaps they could move it
to the side.

The inside might be radically different though (new chips etc).

With regards to the imac, it is a given that it will get a revamp. Isn't
it time for one ?

The current iMac is available up to quad core i7 3.4 GHz / 1333 mem up
to 16 GB; as well as optional HD+SDD or dual SSD. And Thunderbolt.

That's more juice than first flight intel MacPros.

I wonder if Apple are being cagey wrt to an over powerful iMac. Imagine
a 6 core i7 with 32 GB of 1666 memory.

There would be little incentive to buy a 12 core Mac Pro except for the
more extreme video editing types.

An Iphone 7? Really? Will it come in colors?

If Thunderbolt picks up steam with regards to peripherals, then perhaps
the mac pro will no longer have a purpose because Apple could simply
provinde an external expansion cabinet for iMac.

But it all hinges on whether Thunderbolt will become ubiquitous like
USB, or an Apple only stuff like Firewire.

Sort of ... as part of Apple's 40th anniversary celebrations all products
sold during that year will come in ONLY rainbow colour schemes as a
nostaligc nod to the original Apple logo. ;-)
