I too don't want a jb'd phone. But I do wish there was more flexibility in some areas as Mezei points out. -- gmail originated posts filtered due to spam. |

I have everything you all have, plus everything else you have to wait for Apple to give you a year later. Updating is a breeze. My phone does it all and is completely customizable as well. I have no complaints and don't need to use the often buggy and slow Itunes. I just go into my Iphone HD and do what I want. |

That's what I would use my laptop for, personally. -- Send responses to the relevant news group rather than email to me. E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my very hungry SPAM filter. Due to Google's refusal to prevent spammers from posting messages through their servers, I often ignore posts from Google Groups. Use a real news client if you want me to see your posts. JR |

I sync my phone with the real mac. So if I sync my iphone to the laptop, will it cause music and other stuff to be deleted from the iphone because the laptop doesn't have it ? Or will the data present on iphone get copied to the laptop ? It was never clear to me what the policy is with regards to what device has the power to delete data on another device. |
