Default OK- Please Explain The Cloud To Me...

OK: iPhone 4, running 5.0.1. PC, running Office 2010. iCloud
controller loaded on PC, and account set up for icloud.com. Selected
iCloud to update my Calendar and Tasks

Why isn't iCloud updating my Outlook when I add something to my
iPhone?

Thanks.

Did the initial sync work, and merge up data on both sides? Can you see
data via the iCloud web interface?

If so, give it time, give it time. iCloud isn't particularly instant.

I think you 1st have to tell it to backup to the Cloud. On your
iPhone, go to settings, iCloud and then make sure your account info is
correct. Check on/off for what you wish to sync. Click the storage
and backup. Are you sure you have enough storage available for what
you wish to backup? Under backup, be sure the iCloud backup is turned
on.
