Default Limits of app in iphone 4S

Please, does anyone know if the new iphone 4 has the same limit of the
apps in old iphone 3 (11 x 16 = 171)?
Thanks

Since iOS 4 each spot on the homescreen can be a folder. And each folder
can hold 12 Apps. So on the 11 screens you can place (11 * 16 + 4) * 12 =
2160 Apps, including the 4 spots in the Dock.

But if these 2160 Apps are not enough, you can install even more. They
won't be shown on the 11 screens anymore, but you can access them through
the search feature.

there was no such limit. you could install as many apps as you wanted,
limited only by memory.

however, it would only show 11 pages of apps and any apps beyond that
had to be launched by using the spotlight search page for the name of
the app.

ios 4 added folders, which greatly increased the number of apps on the
home screens.

I'm still waiting for one-click sort-your-apps. Finding apps
by scanning screens full of icons is just absurdly inefficient.

(Yes, I end up using search half the time, but that's still
more clicks than I'd like - slide, slide, type, type)

1. Organise them properly within folders - Games in one folder,
Restaurant Guides in another folder, etc.

2. Delete all the garbage you don't actually use (if you really
want to you can keep them on iTunes so you can put them back).

Minus one, since Newsstand can't be placed in a folder. Or plus more,
if you count Newsstand "apps"

I wish Apple would change this. So silly.
