I wonder if a dab of clear nail varnish over the external antennae would
fix the problem? Or cause any damage to the finish?

Has anyone tried that, to your knowledge?

Can I borrow yours? I don't want to buy a bottle just for a dab.

Well you could try your own silver nail polish instead. ;-)

But you guys seem to have completely missed the joke - it's called
"Atennaid" because it looks like a bandaid. :-\

Heheh - no, I got it OK.

But the principle of insulating that edge may still apply - hence my
thought about using clear nail varnish.

It certainly won't hurt the stainless steel, but might not be so good if
you got some on the glass. Regular glass would be no problem, and probably
ok on that special glass, but who knows?
