Default IOS5 doesn't appear in Windows Explorer?

Used to be able to "see" the iPhone on Win Explorer but no more. Am I
missing something?

iPhones have never officially appeared in Windows Explorer. You must have
been using some unofficial third-party software or jailbroken the iPhone -
either way it's that "solution" that needs updating for iOS5.

I'm not sure if it's what she's talking about, but iPhones have
always appeared in WE - as cameras, and still do, at least under
XP.

My iPhone appears as a digital camera in Windows Explorer, but only if
there are actually pictures on the phone. If there are no pictures it
doesn't show up at all. If I disconnect, take a photo and reconnect
then it appears again.
