Default iOS5 disables Google Search

Yet another move by Apple to stick it to the competition at the expense of
their own customers.

You should elaborate on the problem that you're experiencing. Google
Advanced Search has long been my tool of choice, and it works under
iOS5 as it has on previous versions of my i-Thingies. Also regular
Google search, Google Translate, Images.Google.com, GMail, et al.

The app "Google Search" hangs upon searching. This has been reported by
many users. Read the reviews for Google Search and see what's being
reported.

Isn't Google Search an App Store app provided by Google? If it stopped
working, why would your first theory be Apple sabotage rather than,
perhaps, incompatibility with the new OS, server down, or even "my phone
needs a reboot"?

Guys like you give us reasonable anti-fanboys a bad name!

Works fine here on iOS 5, which rather contradicts the idea that Apple
is intentionally killing it somehow.

So you don't subscribe to the "Apple shot JFK" theory?

That and Wikipedia are my most used apps, and it always worked fine
for me,
but I notice there's an update out today which will probably fix
whatever problem
you have.

Just a few more releases of the Google app and maybe it will make it
to
Version 1.0.
