You mean this sound?:

<http://jollyroger.kicks-ass.org/iphone_sounds/new-mail.m4a>

Anyway, you control the sound you hear when new mail arrives with the
Settings > Sounds > New Mail setting. If you never want a new mail
sound, set it to None.

And if you don't want her mail to arrive on your phone, go into Settings

Yes. (It wanted to open that using iTunes, but Quicktime worked). It
also vibrates.

It was "ding". I also turned off the 2nd Vibrate in the Sounds page
and called myself. Nope, that won't work, it turned off the vibrate
when the phone rang. So I guess I have to turn each sound alert to
none individually. OK.

Ahh, I can leave everything else on for her account. Very good.

Thanks.

With Safari, it plays right in the browser rather than downloading to
your computer.

I'd like to be able to right click a link and select which browser I
want to use. I'll remember that Safari is good for clicking on
..m4a files.
