Default Any way to sync iPhone photos to iPad directly?

[Off-topic for comp.sys.mac.apps, so crossposted and followups directed
to iPad and iPhone groups.]

Once iOS 5 is released, Photo Stream via iCloud may achieve that,
assuming you have WiFi access.

(The iOS 5 announcement is due on Wednesday which should indicate
timing, if it isn't released that day.)

If you need to do this without a WiFi connection, you can already
achieve it with an iPad Camera Connection Kit and a standard
iPhone/iPod/iPad USB docking cable, as long as your iPhone is a 3GS or
later model. Plug the USB adapter from the camera connection kit into
the iPad, and plug the iPhone into the adapter via the USB cable, and
the iPad will see the iPhone as a camera.

See the description in the "Overview" section.

It's due tomorrow (Tuesday), not Wednesday.

You have one day less than you had expected before you find out.

Yeah, the very early morning hours.

I guess that when we're talking about time of day here, we should specify
what time zone, or at least the general geographic location.

Although here in AZ and in California, the announcement will commence at 10
am, people in New York will have to wait until 1 pm.

At 13:33 , engadget reports that Apple has confimed that with IOS 5 you
can sync between iOS devices. Will have to wait for the movie to compe
out later today to know for sure what this means.
