(The iOS 5 announcement is due on Wednesday which should indicate timing, if it isn't released that day.) If you need to do this without a WiFi connection, you can already achieve it with an iPad Camera Connection Kit and a standard iPhone/iPod/iPad USB docking cable, as long as your iPhone is a 3GS or later model. Plug the USB adapter from the camera connection kit into the iPad, and plug the iPhone into the adapter via the USB cable, and the iPad will see the iPhone as a camera. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC531ZM/A See the description in the "Overview" section. -- David Empson dempson@actrix.gen.nz |

You have one day less than you had expected before you find out. -- Tea Party Patriots is to Patriotism as People's Democratic Republic is to Democracy. |

Sorry, time zone got me again. It will be Wednesday morning in New Zealand, Tuesday in the US. -- David Empson dempson@actrix.gen.nz |

I guess that when we're talking about time of day here, we should specify what time zone, or at least the general geographic location. Although here in AZ and in California, the announcement will commence at 10 am, people in New York will have to wait until 1 pm. -- Tea Party Patriots is to Patriotism as People's Democratic Republic is to Democracy. |
