I'm debating Origami Workstation right now... Anyone else tried it?

As far as keyboards, Apple's is about the best portable fullish sized
one I've found, although you can more or less use any Bluetooth
keyboard.

amusingly enough, except apple's own original bluetooth keyboard. only
the flat aluminum one works, not the pro keyboard that preceded it. you
would think they'd have tested that combo.

What's the best portable keyboard to use? Apple's is not very conducive to
carrying around.

I've been thinking about one of these two:

<http://www.brookstone.com/bluetooth-silicone-keyboard>
rd>

I'm not sure what the differences are between the two. Nor do I know
whether there's a better keyboard that serves the same function. There are
less expensive ones, but I don't know about the quality of any of them.

What makes you think they didn't test it? There's a reason they don't
recommend it, right?

i use a collapsible bluetooth keyboard which folds up to a size that's
a little bigger than an ipod. i don't remember who made it.

then why didn't they make sure it worked?

not a credible one. seriously, an apple keyboard won't work with an
apple product? they fucked up on that one.

Here are a few I have compiled over the last few months. No endorsement
expressed or implied, just a list of items which interested me:

AirStash $100 <http://www.airstash.com/> stores your movies, music,
photos, and documents and wirelessly shares them with your phone, media
player, netbook, tablet, computer, and more. Use AirStash like a USB
flash drive to drag & drop the files you want to your SD card while
charging the built-in lithium polymer battery, then unplug & play on all
of your browser-enabled WiFi devices*.

If you know how to use a USB drive and a web browser, you know how to
use AirStash. Once you own AirStash, every other USB flash drive will
seem less evolved.

Introducing the Pogo Stylus ($15) and Sketch ($15) from Ten One Design

The sleek design of the Pogo Stylus features an ultra-light aluminum
body with an anodized finish and laser graphics. The soft tip glides
easily over the surface of the display, making it fun and easy to
sketch, draw characters, or just slide to unlock. Sized for accuracy, it
does away with the awkward typos and misfires common to fingertip-only
use.

Until now I've had trouble finding sleeves that fit the iPad once it's
inserted in Apple's case. By happy coincidence, HP makes a mini sleeve
that fits the Apple incased iPad like it was designed for that purpose.
The iPad, inserted in Apple's case, fits perfectly in the HP 10.2" Mini
Sleeve (Dimensions: 8.07" x 1.18" x 11.42"), VX403AA#ABL. Once enclosed
in the zippered sleeve, your iPad will have an additional layer of
protection for insertion into a backpack or carry-on luggage. The
outside of the sleeve has three pockets perfect for carrying earphones
and/or stands (I have a 2-position plastic stand from INCASE that fits
in one of the pockets like it was made for it). Whatever the case, the
HP Mini Sleeve is stocked at most Staples stores. The HP branding is
very subtle on the sleeve (although it might serve to discourage thieves
who could mistakenly conclude you're carrying a far less desirable HP
Slate). If you'd prefer to lose the branding, a little dab from a black
marker can be applied to easily mask the HP label.

Because that keyboard is a discontinued product.

Gee, you mean like how the current model iMacs don't work with the USB
Apple modem?
