Default saving YouTube videos

One thing I miss on the iPad is the ability to save YouTube videos. I can't
see why Sony can't allow a program that will do this. Some videos are slow
at playing due to Internet traffic so it's better to save them first then
play them back.

I know that there is a iPad hack but I don't want to cause any problems for
my iPad and I think the last update for the iPad blocked any current hacks.

I save YouTube video on my computer, add them to iTunes, and then can
play them from my ipad or iPhone.

I have done that in the past but I like to browse the videos using my iPad
and decide on the ones that are worth downloading.

What would be useful is a iPad program that collects Internet site
addresses so that when I come across a YouTube video that I want to
download I can get the program to add the YouTube address to it's list.
Then I can transfer the list of addresses to my PC computer (maybe by
e-mail) and have my PC download the YouTube videos that I was interested
in. There may have to be something added to the address to make the YouTube
videos automatically download.

Any ideas to make this suggestion possible?

there is at least one app that lets you download youtube movies to the
device but i don't remember what it's called. i tried it but decided i
didn't use it enough to warrant keeping it. there may be others that do
something similar.

you can always copy/paste the links into a document and later get that
document off the ipad. if the app syncs to the cloud, the urls will
appear on your computer within seconds, without the need to copy the
file.

Why not just add the videos you like to your YouTube favorites? At the end
of the video, in the video frame, there is an "Add" button.

You can create a category just for this, if you want, through the web site.

Then sit down at yer PeeCee, step through your favorites, grab them and
then delete them from the favorite list if you want.
