Is there any way to get the Music app to interface like iTunes?

You need to give more detail such as the name of the music app.

In IOS 5, there is an icon on the bottom of my iPad called "Music". It
seems to have replaced the app that I used to use that worked like
iTunes does.

There's another icon which is called iTunes, which seems to connect to
the iTunes store.

When I open "Music" (which I called the Music App, but which
apparently was the wrong thing to call it, as several people didn't
understand), I get iTunes with a very different interface than what I
am used to. I don't care for that interface, and would like to know
if it is possible to get back to what I'm used to seeing.

Oh, I Googled to find out how to display lyrics, and found a lot of
other people asking the same question. No answers though.

It replaced the "iPod" app, I believe.

The iPod app has been replaced by two apps - Videos and Music.
This is in iOS5 on iPhones.

On an iPad, the music/audio was already separate from video,
though the audio player was called iPod and the video player
was called Video. I haven't updated my iPad yet, but presumably
they just changed "iPod" to "Music" because it was already an
audio-only app anyway.

The iTunes app, just as it was before, remains the iTunes *store* app,
not a player.

What, specifically, has changed that you don't like? At least on
iOS5 on an iPhone, the Music app is pretty much identical to the
previous iPod app other than the fact that it no longer has the
video.

It behaves pretty much the same, but there are a LOT of changes
in the display layout. Most of them are silly but harmless.
They don't improve anything, just make you have to learn
new locations for all the same things.

But changing the playlists from a list view to a two-dimensional
array of piles of album covers sucks. More so if like me, you have lots
of things that don't have album covers.

I am becoming happier and happier about NOT installing this thing!
