Default a much needed program for he iPad

If this app exists then please tell me e name of it.

What is needed is an app that will create a list of all the programs
installed on the iPad then next to each app name will be the size of the
app and what folder the app is located in. It could include the date that
the app was installed.

I hope some app software writers are reading this.

you can get the list of all installed apps and their sizes in
settings>usage on the device. you can also search for an app to launch
it via spotlight, but in yet another glaring omission, you can't
determine where it is.

It's in iTunes on my Mac with other backups.

Are you referring to the settings app that comes with the iPad as I can't
find a usage button. Where is it?

This frustrates me a lot. Search is the ONLY way I can find my GPS app.

I go to the home screen and study all the icons. Don't see it.

Next screen, same thing. Look in all the folders. I can't find the
cursed thing! But type GP in search—there it is, and it works.

Use the Apps tab in iTunes. Double-click an app in the list on the left
side, and the appropriate page and folder is shown on the right, with
the app highlighted.

If it doesn't have settings, you can always delete it and add it in
again. I've done that when I couldn't find an app.
