Default Moving iPad sync from one computer to another

Is there a document that describes how to move my iPad sync from one host
to another? I am running iOS 5 on the iPad and am running iTunes 10.5 for
Windows on both my old and new computers. The new host is Win XP SP3. The
new computer has all of the movies, music, podcasts, etc. that the old
computer has and runs them just fine. I have backed up my iPad on the old
computer. When I attempt to sync the iPad to the new computer, the host
tells me that it going to have to erase everything on the iPad since this
is the first time it is being synced to this iPad. I tell it to proceed,
but then, in short order, I get the infamous BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH on the
new host. This has happened a couple of times, so it is not some random
glitch.

Thanks, Gary

It sounds to me that there's something wrong on the new computer that
might not be subject to a procedure.

One thing that you might wish to consider is to duplicate your whole
iTunes from your old computer. There are Googleable instructions
for doing this, or were when I switched from Windows to Mac.

I did it for a trop with no problem last month, from my WIN 7 desktop to
my XP laptop, and back again when returning home.
