Default file sharing

I have purchased an iPad app called My File Manager. I have several
documents in Pages that I want to transfer to the file manager app. I
finally figured out how to transfer the docs to iTunes, save them to my PC,
then transfer them into the file manager program. However, the question I
have which no one has been able to answer is even after deleting the files
from Pages on the iPad and deleting them from the folder on the PC, they
still appear in the Pages file sharing portion on iTunes. Is there a way
to get rid of them so when new documents are added I don't have to scroll
through a long list of documents to find the new one?

I've deleted them from iTunes, but I think I had to do it with the iPad
connected. I'll have to go look.

They can be deleted from iTunes when the iPad is connected. That's the
only time you can get INTO the Pages backup. I just deleted a number of
backups I had already deleted from my iPad littering that file.

I don't want to delete the files from Pages, I want to delete them from the
list of documents under file sharing. For dome reason even deleting a
document in the Pages app on the iPad does not delete it from the list of
docs under file sharing I. iTunes.

That probably can't be done, since the Pages backup will only open with the
iPad connected, and deleting them from the backup then also deletes them
from the iPad, as I just discovered.
