Default Drawing Programs

I'm looking for a drawing program for the ipad that will replace
TuxPaint that my elementary aged kid used to use under Ubuntu.

He liked the reflection and kaleidoscope effects especially.

If you use the App Store program and type in the keyword "drawing" then you
will see a collection of drawing programs for the iPad, such as 'Drawing
Kids HD', Kids Doodle, Drawing Box Free. Many of them are Free.

Right, but there are, last I looked, over 1,000. Or maybe that was
searching on Paint. Nope, 1155 apps listed for "drawing" and 866 for
Painting.

I was hoping some people here had actually used some of them.

If you select all drawing programs with a star rating of 4+ then that
narrows it down to just 25 drawing programs.
Use google to check for a review on a drawing program app. It difficult to
recumbent as there will be some features I like in a drawing program that
you may not like. There are plenty of free drawing programs to try out.
