I am a mobile.me customer moving to iCloud.
I have an iCal event on my Mac that starts at 10:00 AM. But at https://www.icloud.com/#calendar, this event shows up at 9:00. I'm wondering if there's Daylight Savings Time setting on the web site. When I upgraded to IOS 5 & iCloud, I had all of my events duplicated on my Wi-Fi iPad 1. I tapped calendar and saw a set of Calendars on "All from My Mac", as well as a set of calendars on "All iCloud". I unchecked the duplicates from "All from My Mac", and the calendar looked right. This morning though, I opened my iPad calendar and nothing showed up. I taped "All from My Mac", and everything was there twice. I tapped it again, and it is working right (I then checked "Reminders" - but I'm not sure what that is or whether we use it). I noticed that both copies of the 10:00 event showed as 10:00 on the iPad. Those events were created by copying a 9:00 event in September to October. I don't want to have two separate sets of calendars to choose between on my iPad. They appear to be the same now - but if they're the same, one is sufficient. And I don't want them different. |
