When I attempt to use the BBC iPlayer on my iPad2 the programme selection
page briefly flashes up for a fraction of a second and then immediately
disappears again, no matter how many times I keep touching the screen icon.
However, if I delete the application and then reload it from apps, it works
OK for a while and then reverts back to the original problem, which means
that I have to delete and reload it all over again to get it to work, does
anyone know why, or if there is a way of preventing it from happening?
I also have the ITV player, 4od, and the Ch5 player installed and don't have
a problem with any of those, TIA any help much appreciated.

Sod's law, since I wrote the above, the iPlayer has decided to behave itself
:-)

The Iplayer app is a piece of crap, which crashes quite easily and
often just won't download.

I have had some funnies with the app as well, but I found out to fix it all
I had to do was to go to iPlayer in Safari !!! select something then go back
to the iPlayer app and it starts working again - figure that one out !
