Default Battery Drain

It seems that my iPAD1 battery drain is more rapid using iOS5. I generally
don't recharge until I'm under 10%.

I use sleep mode instead of turning the iPAD completely off.

I don't know the capbilities of the iPad1, but one stealth battery
drainer in iOS5 is location-based reminders. The iDevice is constantly
accessing GPS, by one method or another, to see where you are to
determine whether or not to display a reminder you set.

Thanks. I've got the wifi version, so I don't think GPS is a factor.
