Default Apps moved around

I looked at my iPad this morning and a lot of apps have moved out of
the folders where I kept them. I'm suspecting this is because of
the IOS 5 updating having a bug, at least with wireless.

Most of these are games my grandchildren play, so I will have to open
them up and try to figure logical categories again for them to put
them in folders that make sense. I will need to do that on my iPad,
where it is a pain to try to move the apps from one screen to another.
I did this all once for each app, I hope I don't have to do this
daily. It's tough when we only have one layer of folders to keep
some logic.

I noticed I have 3 magazines in "Newsstand", but when I tried to drag
"The Onion" there, it wouldn't go.

I have read a bunch of articles trying to learn why I might want the
"Messages" app. It doesn't look like I will, so I went to the "Sync
Apps" sub-page in iTunes to uncheck it - but it's not there.

You can rearrange in iTunes too. I find that handier than trying to
move things around on the iPad itself, especially when I need to move a
bunch.

It's easier to rearrange in iTunes. But I don't remember what the
kids' games do, so I need the iPad around to see. If it just stayed
where I put it, this wouldn't be a problem.
