Apple has fiduciary duty to its shareholders to perform well. That its
its primary duty and legal obligation.

Having happy customers is means to get it, it is not a goal.

Primary does not mean only. Happy customers can very well be a goal.
Also goal and duty are not the same thing

Wrong again. For most people it was simply the price of the Mac. The "PC"
was cheaper so they chose that, and have been paying the price ever since
with buggy Microsoft rubbish and virus ridden silliness.

A company that concentrates on pleasing its shareholders instead of its
customers is usually one that goes down the toilet very quickly ... but a
company that concentrates on keeping its customers happy will also please
the shareholders.

Common Sense Business Rule #1: The customer comes first.

Real World Business Rule #1: Stuff the customer, screw the company, let us
greedy management idiots just fill our own pockets and get out quick. :-(

And the PCI cards were much more expensive. Even IBM could not sell its
micro channel architecture at a higher price even though it was superior.

Prices were higher in those days, you can get a fairly well equipped Mac
Pro for the price as the original Mac.

The fact that you're one of those people who actually sat through "Meet
Joe Black" without vomiting all over yourself says everything I need to
know about you.

Pretty much everything, and everyone in Cupertino is blessed with
perfection. Every morning I wake up and just marvel about how perfect it is.

Anything with Brad Pitt leads me to uncontrollable cookie-chunking.

Nah, it's just that they are so much less imperfect than you that you
can't tell the difference between their imperfection and true
perfection.
