Once flash memory pricing drops to the point where Apple can justify releasing an iPod model with at least 128 GB of flash memory, the Classic could switch to using flash memory instead of a hard drive, or would be deleted from the product lineup (with users with high capacity requirements expected to buy the top end iPod Touch instead). -- David Empson dempson@actrix.gen.nz |
