Can 1Password insert logon information to stand-alone apps that require
them? For instance, if I use the Wells Fargo app or the Facebook app on my
iPad or iPhone, can 1Password enter the user name and password for me?

No, you have to copy it from 1Password and paste it into the app.

No - because of the way iOS walls off apps from each other

The 1Password app, however, includes its own built-in web
browser and if you use that, it can put in the info at least
for limited web browsing.

I wish I could get 1Password to talk to iCab on my iOS devices.
No such luck.

(I also wish I could tell iOS to always use iCab instead of
Safari as a default when doing things like clicking on links
in e-mail and other apps. Safari is still getting better a
little bit at a time, but it's still not my preferred browser)

I use DataVault from Ascendo and like it much better than 1Password which I
used both in the past and then dropped 1Password because DataVault was just
that much better.
