I would like to publicly thank (and praise) Mr. Mike Maginnis for his timely
dedication to keeping A2Central updated and current! It is now another site which I visit daily (I used to visit it just a few days per week), and I do like reading about all of the news going on in the Apple II world! Thanks! -- ]DF$ Mac GUI Vault - A source for retro Apple II and Macintosh computing. http://macgui.com/vault/ |

I intended to make some sort of announcement about this back in December when it all happened, but never really got around to it for whatever reason. Sean Fahey mentioned it briefly in the Open Apple Rountable podcast, but as I don't know how many csa2 readers listen to OA, here goes. I was recently approached by Sean about taking a larger role in contributing to A2Central. He felt for personal reasons that he wanted to take step back and hoped I would take over as lead editor for A2Central. I happily agreed. So, I'm happy to belatedly announce that I've taken over that role from Sean, who will remain involved as a contributor, and in whatever other capacity he feels comfortable. Sean has done an amazing job over the years since he took over from Sheppy and I hope I can live up to the high standards he set in making A2Central truly "Your Total Source for Apple II Computing". To be clear, I don't own A2Central and I'm not the only one providing behind-the-scenes administration and support. It's been a challenge so far keeping up in our friendly rivalry with Call-A.P.P.L.E. and if I can do half as well as my predecessors, I'll be happy with A2Central at the end of the day. Thanks. - Mike blog: http://6502lane.net scans: http://apple2scans.net podcast: http://open-apple.net |
