Default Printing from Sweet 16 - Appletalk required?

Trying to get SweetPrint to work from Sweet16. In DC-Printer, I can
select Printer Port, SweetPrint. From Teach, print dialog says
LaserWriter "No network-not suported" v3.3. When I try to print, it
then creates a postscript file in the Driver directory, instead of
sending anything to Mac OS.

Do I need to have Appletalk installed on the GS? Whenever I tried to
enable appletalk, it wouldn't find the boot drive. Currently I have
all slots set as default.

I'm running ROM 01, System 6.01, Sweet16 2.3.1, Mac OS 10.6.8.

Very cool program! I'm hoping to use it to go through all my old
backups.

From Sheppy's site:
Print from Desktop Applications
Desktop applications that use the Apple IIgs Print Manager can print
using a custom LaserWriter driver (included). Printed output appears
in the Mac OS X Preview application, from which you can save the
output in PDF format or print it to any Mac-compatible printer.

Appletalk is not required. Read the manual included in the package.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Turns out I had indeed missed the first step in the instructions, to
copy SweetPrinter into System:System Setup. Duh.. RTFM! Printing
works now!

When I went through the first time, I had installed LaserWriter using
the system 6.01 Install disk, which also installs AppleTalk. It gives
an error at boot: "The selected AppleTalk connection could not be
found. Be sure it is installed and the slot settings in the Control
Panel are correct.".... so I thought that might have been an issue.
Anyway.. will remove the unnecessary files.

I also ran into the repeating cursor issue, which was fixed by
removing EasyAccess. (Installed by default)
