The ribbon cable goes right from the keyboard daughter card, into the game port, and then back out to a male DB9 connector. But that's odd because usually the game port is a female connector. -- ]DF$ Mac GUI Vault - A source for retro Apple II and Macintosh computing. http://macgui.com/vault/ |

I'm guessing it also routes the Open-Apple and Solid-Apple keys to the joystick port (so they work as in a IIe or later machine). What the DB-9 connector hanging off the joystick port is supposed to be, I don't know...it could be wired the same way as a IIe/IIc/IIGS joystick port, but you'd need a gender-bender to plug one in. _/_ / v \ Scott Alfter (remove the obvious to send mail) (IIGS( http://alfter.us/ Top-posting! \_^_/ >What's the most annoying thing on Usenet? --- Posted via news://freenews.netfront.net/ - Complaints to news@netfront.net --- |
