Default Joypad I made for my //c

I wanted a joystick for my apple //c, I was too cheap to buy one and I
prefer non stick style gamepads anyway so I took a thumstick out of a
XBOX(1) controller and made my own

Groovy.

I agree with your lament that it's hard to find really good hand controls
for the Apple II.

"Ever try to play PacMan with a giant flight stick?"

Good one! :-)

yea but its based in truth, I have a pretty nice 4 axis (flightstick +
sliders for rudder and whatnot) 2 button PC flight stick my parents
got me back in like 94 for Christmas, and I converted it to be able to
switch tween Apple II and PC when I first got this computer a couple
years ago (I had a pimped out IIe growing up that I sort of wish I
didn't let my parents sell, but tell that to a 13 year old with his
very own 386 with CD and soundblaster in 1993 that I worked my ass off
for and cobbled together out of surplus parts for almost a year)
