Sometimes it's someone with an inflated sense of their value, and the box is just routine junk, with a terribly inflated price. Other times I'm sure it works out better, they barely want anything for it, yet one thing alone is valuable. Of course, there was that time I found a Grappler in a box of stuff on the sidewalk. That older Wacom tablet I found a this summer, with serial interface, would be a much better find if I'd realized I needed the stylus, because who knows if it was among the other junk or not, but I didn't think to look.
