Default CF with SCSI

I got interested in a small project.
I have a number of ACARD ide to Ultra SCSI adapters. Then I decided to
add a Compact flash to ide adapter.
So far I haven't had much luck.
I've been able to confirm that the ide to SCSI adapter works if
there's an ide drive connected to it. The Compact flash to ide adapter
works fine connected to the ide bus in a B&W G3. Together it's a no
go.
When the adapters are connected to a Mac or Apple II SCSI card,
they're not seen.
When I add a known good SCSI drive to the chain then it hangs on both
the Apple II & Mac. I've different SCSI id and different termination
and term power.

I've tried couple of different Compact Flash cards including the one
out of my CFFA card.
I can't think of anything else to try with the present equipment.

Does this combination work when connected to an Apple 2 SCSI adapter?

I've tried the ide to SCSI adapter with an ide drive on a Ramfast and
an Apple Rev C just to see if it functioned. I copied the contents of
a Vulcan drive over to it and then booted off it without any
problems.
I didn't play around with it too much as all I really wanted to know
was whether my adapter functioned connected to an Apple II SCSI card.
I've enough SCSI drives that I don't need to use the adapters for that
purpose at present.
