Default Broken Transwarp GS

So I have a Transwarp GS, had it for quite some time and always worked
fine. So I was planning on upgrading it a little by replacing the 8k
cache card with a 32k cache one. I removed the daughter card just to
see what the connectors looked like on the backside in preparation for
the replacement (since I've never seen underneath it). I then put the
card right back in, nice and tight just like it was, but now the
transwarp wont start up! I didn't break or insert anything wrong so
what gives? The green led light goes on, but the iigs behaves as if
there is no CPU. I removed the transwarp and put in the original CPU
and the machine works fine, so something happened to the transwarp. I
pulled out and pushed back in the oscillator, took out and pushed back
in the cache card again... nothing... . I also tried the transwarp on
a second IIGS I have. No dice. Do you think I may have had static
electricity that I transferred to the cache card and fried the rom or
something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gently, oh so gently, remove the transwarp cable from the processor socket and carefully inspect the pins for damage. If all look good, gently push them slightly outward to make better contact with the socket.

Or get a replacement cable from someone (the Bill Shuff mod) and try that.

I did what you said and also gave the contacts a good cleaning and
voila! It works. Thanks, Sean. Man, I was scared there for a
second. These things aren't cheap.
