Default Apple IIgs game machine?

Hopefully someone can answer this.

I'm looking to create a semi portable game machine. Well not really it will
be just a IIGS with a CFFA card inside 1meg of memory, keyboard and mouse.

The idea is that I want to try and launch all the programs quickly from the
CFFA card without booting into GS/OS system 6. So, is there a prodos
launcher of some sort that will boot right into an application.

I would like to boot disk II images and even 5.25 disk images if possible.

The IIgs is going to be hooked up to a 55 inch LED TV via the IIgs composite
cable. Should be interesting.

So is there a prodos launcher/selector for prodos/dos3.3 games.

Thanks you for any help.

I think the only way of doing this would be with the CFAA 3000. I don't
think there's any other way of booting straight into disk images.

You could potentially set up a loader for older file based DOS 3.3
games, but there's no way of setting up IIGS specific games unless you
boot into GS/OS and preinstall hard drive installable versions of
games...which unfortunately won't work for every IIGS game.

You've considered the size and power requirements for a //gs board and power
supply, right? That makes a lower bound on anything approaching
portability. I'd hate to see you tear up a good working machine and not
succeed.
