I have spent the best part of the last month retrieving programs from
cassettes (mostly non original) that came with an Apple II serial # 999 that I received a few years back. I have posted all aiff's that I retrieved from the cassettes and have gotten working, here: https://public.me.com/lord_philip look under apple 2/apple II cassettes/The cora cassettes. There are some really old stuff here. and some original Apple programs too such as: Apple Casino Blackjack Apple Mastermind Apple Othello Apple Pinball Apple Seven Apple Star Wars Apple Yahtzee Applegammon You will find some duplicates too. I have also put four .do files with the Integer basic programs copied to the virtual disk images in the same folder. I still have quite a few files that I haven't been able to retrieve and some cassettes that are physically broken that need to be fixed before I can attempt to make backups. Enjoy Philip |

After Philip's announcement, I'm glad to make 27 AIF cassettes
available on brutaldeluxe.fr. Those come from a lot a gentle man who has kindly sent them to me for free. There are files from Apple, Creative computing and Softape. Some others are GR or HGR demos and there are some games too. All recovered files were put on a disk image (a ProDOS one, I know, that does not ease life) for your viewing pleasure. One click away @ http://www.brutaldeluxe.fr/projects/cassettes/other/ Regards, Antoine |
